Project with the community
An epicurean encounter at Parque Natural da Serra d’Aire e Candeeiros, where artists, local people, festival staff, and audience members share homemade delicacies and their experiences as spectators and participants.
Once appetites have been quelled, local arts students host a quiz show where festival artists take anonymous questions from the audience.
Human beings require various types of nutrition to lead a full life. The body requires food for blood to pump, for lungs to breathe. In the same way, art nourishes the spirit, fuelling critical thought and different ways of seeing the world. Art that inflames, disturbs, and provokes – therein lies its urgency.
